I have heard it said that if you want to be the best you can be, you should strive for the impossible and reach for the stars. Yet on the other hand I have also heard it said that striving for the impossible is a total waste of time and even damaging to our moral and we should be satisfied with grasping that which is barely an inch away.

As a certified walking stomach, I have heard rumors that the tastiest treats are hidden up high and only persistent pups who are willing to reach for the stars will find and enjoy them. But as a certified lazy pup, I would be quite content to leave the stars alone and graze the floor for forgotten crumbs. It is amazing what little delights are waiting to be found for those who are willing to look down and clean the floor. If I had to choose, I think I could be quite content licking up the trove of crumbs hiding under the table.

Hmm, reach for the stars or be satisfied with the crumbs from the floor. Eating the crumbs off the floor is easier, so I guess that the logical choice is to choose to eat the crumbs….
wait a second… what is this gastronomic delight? Is this what the stars taste like? Forget stale old crumbs, if stars taste this good, I will gladly reach a thousand times my height to enjoy a reward as tasty as this.

It might be a tough battle for some, stars or crumbs, lazy pup or walking stomach. But for this little pup when it comes to the battle of lazy pup or walking stomach, my stomach will always win by a thousand miles. And I will do all in my power to reach stars and enjoy a feast as wonderful as this!
