Happy 4th of July. May you and your family have a safe and wonderful day full of delicious food and lots of family fun.
To the many families who will be enjoying your own set of fireworks stay safe. And please remember that while you are enjoying the bangs, booms, lights, and smokes, many of your four footed friends will be joining me shivering under the bed, praying for the 5th to arrive in a hurry. So if you would, please pack all the noisy fun into the early hours of the night instead of letting it linger late into the night and early the next morning.

I know, you told me that there is nothing to worry about. You keep telling me that those strange bangs and booms won’t hurt me. But as much as you tell me not to worry, all I know is that to my trembling nerves it sounds and smells like danger.
Got something to say? Go for it!
